Currently trapexit is maintaining templeos.org. The domain, the server, the website, and main archive. This domain was entrusted to trapexit by the community after Terry's death due to being a neutral 3rd party. Having not been a member of any TOS subcommunity and having kept the main archive of Terry's works and media. For that reason there is no interest in transfering or selling the domain. The intent is for templeos.org to be a simple memorial to TAD and his work and kept largely unchanged from how it was when he owned it. Links to related material, acting as a simple portal, is all the change one should expect to see. If infighting between subcommunities spill over into complaints about what is presented on templeos.org then we reserve the right to remove *all* 3rd party links. If you wish to contribute financially to the maintainence you can do so via methods found here. Please indicate that the donation is for TempleOS if possible. That said such donations are not necessary and the domain, site, etc. will be maintained regardless. Additionally, no donation will change or influence what is presented on the site.

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 1130 businesses audited.
TempleOS has 20.2 points less BS than the average for Software, SaaS & Tech Products.
Software, SaaS & Tech Products BS: TempleOS (templeos.org)
TempleOS is a pure signal archive that stands as the absolute antithesis of modern business BS. Its low score is only a reflection of its refusal to adopt standard web schema and heading protocols, not a lack of substance.
Implement a clear H1 tag on the homepage with the text ‘Temple Operating System’ to define the page’s primary purpose. Add SoftwareSourceCode and Organization schema to the homepage to bridge the technical authority gap. Include a direct link to a code repository or version control history to provide a third-party audit trail of the work. Update the meta title to include technical descriptors like ‘Public Domain 64-bit OS Archive’.
The site perfectly matches the software and operating system niche within the technology industry. The content is dedicated to the distribution of a 64-bit operating system and the preservation of its historical archive, consistent with open-source and public domain technical projects.
“The score of 13 is driven entirely by technical implementation flags (missing schema and H1 tags) and an automated trust theatre flag. The site contains zero linguistic BS, no industry jargon, and no semantic drift, placing it in the top tier of authentic technical projects.”
