May 13, 2025 [H1] Turso Cloud powers Adaptive's AI Builder Platform with 2 Million+ Databases [IMG: Glauber Costa] Glauber Costa [IMG: Cover image for Turso Cloud powers Adaptive] Adaptive.ai is an AI builder platform focused on empowering non-technical users. It enables anyone – regardless of technical skill, to build fully functional applications. Just three weeks after launching, Adaptive had already acquired paying users in over 50 countries. [IMG: Adaptive] Adaptive@adaptiveai·FollowYour apps own you — adaptive puts you back in control.Watch on X3:00 PM · Apr 22, 2025267ReplyCopy linkRead 22 replies For a platform built with non-technical users in mind, requiring customers to set up external service accounts is a non-starter. To let users build complete applications seamlessly, Adaptive needed to handle the database layer internally. To solve this, Adaptive partnered with Turso to deliver seamless database integration to its rapidly growing user base. Thanks to Turso’s cost structure, built to support unlimited databases – Adaptive has been able to scale confidently, already surpassing more than 2 million databases created, without compromising on margins. [H2] #The Challenge: Database Versioning for AI-Powered Applications Adaptive's platform allows non-technical users to build AI applications without coding knowledge. A key differentiator is their approach to application versioning - every prompt, every iteration, and every version of an application has its own dedicated database. "Most platforms think about databases at the user or application level," explains Dennis Xu, Founder and CEO at Adaptive. "We take it further - each version of an application gets its own database instance. When users experiment with a new prompt or feature, we create a new database as a copy of the previous one, letting it evolve independently while preserving the original state." [H2] #The Solution: Turso's SQLite Foundation Turso Database provides the ideal infrastructure for Adaptive's versioning approach. Built on SQLite, where each database is simply a file, Turso enables: Effortless Branching: Creating a new version is as simple as copying a file Zero Idle Cost: Databases incur no charges when not actively in use Massive Scalability: Supporting millions of databases without prohibitive overhead [H2] #Results: Unprecedented Database Density The partnership has achieved remarkable scale: Adaptive has now crossed the 2 million database mark. This level of database density would be economically unfeasible with traditional database providers, where each instance carries significant overhead costs. We believe Turso Cloud is the only platform in the market capable of achieving this level of database density affordability. While many know us for “per-user databases”, Adaptive demonstrates our ability to scale far beyond that, allowing for innovative architectures where one can have per-session, per-prompt, or per-version databases. [H2] #Looking Forward As Adaptive expands globally, Turso’s unique architecture ensures it can scale sustainably. The platform's ability to maintain millions of independent database instances while keeping costs manageable enables Adaptive to offer their non-technical users the sophisticated versioning capabilities previously available only to development teams with extensive database expertise. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 1130 businesses audited.
Turso has 19.2 points less BS than the average for Software, SaaS & Tech Products.
Software, SaaS & Tech Products BS: Turso (turso.tech)
Turso is a rare example of a ‘Low BS’ technical site. It replaces generic value statements with code snippets and architectural proof, effectively backing up its ambitious ‘Millions of Databases’ claim with a verifiable case study and transparent documentation.
To achieve a near-zero score, Turso should add outbound links to the third-party platforms where their 10 reviews originated (e.g., G2 or Product Hunt). They should also include a link to a live status page in the footer to substantiate the ‘Always On’ claim. Finally, adding a public security portal or SOC 2 report availability (even if for Pro tiers only) would bridge the only remaining gap in enterprise authority.
The site perfectly matches the Software and SaaS category, specifically focusing on database infrastructure. The content is deeply technical, referencing specific protocols and frameworks like libSQL, SQLite, and WebAssembly, confirming a high-fidelity industry alignment.
“The score of 14 is driven primarily by the Trust and Proof pillar (7 points) due to the presence of unlinked reviews on the homepage and a few unsubstantiated performance adjectives. Information density is excellent, but a minor penalty was applied for re-stating the 'Unlimited Databases' claim across three separate pages. The technical and semantic integrity of the site is near-perfect.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from Turso, captured on May 24, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to Turso: This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
Any company can use the insights for free and improve its voice by comparing it to industry clichés or competitors. When a company has updated its content, it can always submit a new audit request, which will be reflected in a new current score.
