[H3] Changes to Cabin Baggage Security Requirements

Please note that due to evolving safety and regulatory requirements for cabin baggage, certain items previously permitted may no longer be allowed into the airport security restricted area or onboard an aircraft. Airport security staff will not let anything through a security checkpoint that they consider dangerous or for which they are unable to resolve potential concerns - even if it has previously been allowed in hand luggage.
Arrangements may vary between airports and will include security officer assessments on the day. Passengers should check before travelling for advance advice given by airports from, and through, which you may travel.

Passengers are required to ensure that all liquids carried in cabin baggage do not exceed 100ml to help get you through the security checkpoint at Aberdeen International Airport.

[H2] How do I amend my booking?

Lounge and Parking bookings can be amended for future dates or cancelled up to 2 hours before your booking time. All you need is your email address and booking reference which can be found on your confirmation email. To make any changes to your booking visit the manage my booking page.
Manage my booking
Amendments to the dates of stay are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Certain promotional products cannot be amended, it will be made clear at the point of booking if this is the case.
Please note if you booked during a sale or at a lower price and that rate is no longer available, the new rate will apply. Where specified in the product details some special offer bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.

[H2] My booking reference number is not working?

If you are trying to amend or cancel your booking online via our website link below

and your booking reference is not recognised, it is likely that the booking has been made through a third-party site. Please check your booking confirmation email for information regarding how to amend/cancel your booking or email us at [email protected] with your booking reference number and contact details and we’ll respond to you as soon as possible.

[H2] What happens after I have made my car parking booking?

You will receive an on-screen confirmation which details your booking reference and instructions (please read these carefully).
We will also send you a booking confirmation email. Please have this with you when you arrive at the airport in case it is needed. Please ensure that your vehicle registration details are correct as this is used to give you access to the car park. There is an option to amend your booking if you will be arriving at the airport in a different vehicle than originally planned.
You are responsible for supplying a valid email and we cannot be held responsible for the non-delivery of booking confirmation emails due to transmission failure or incorrect address details.
Failure to receive the confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking, your booking is still valid, but please check your junk or spam folder just in case your booking confirmation email has been sent there. If not, your email address may have been entered incorrectly.

[H2] Can I make a booking to park at the airport today?

Yes. Bookings can be made up to at least 2 hours prior to your arrival time at the Airport.
All Car Park bookings are subject to availability and the Airport reserves the right to withdraw availability at its entire discretion for a given date.

[H2] My vehicle details have changed, what should I do?

You may amend your vehicle details on your booking up to 24 hours before your car parking commences. To amend your vehicle details on your car park booking online, please re-visit the website you used to book and follow the online instructions or click the links below.

[H2] What if I return later than the date/time on the booking?

You will be charged for the additional days in which you stay in the car park, based on the overstay rate applicable to the car park.

[H2] What payment methods are accepted for pre-booking?

Payment must be made in advance and online. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and PayPal for pre-booking.
We reserve the right not to fulfil your booking if your card is declined for any reason, if the payment card has been used fraudulently or without the cardholder's permission, or if you are under the age of 18.

[H2] How do I know my payment details are secure?

To protect your privacy and security, our website uses SSL encryption software, which is the industry standard. It encrypts your personal information so that it cannot be read.
You will know you are in the secure area of our site when the website address is preceded by “https://” and a padlock symbol appears in the frame of your browser.
Our entire website, and booking system, use SSL encryption software to ensure each session is safe.

[H2] How do I get a VAT receipt?

Once you have made your transaction, the VAT receipt is the results presented on the screen. Your booking confirmation is your VAT receipt too. You can log into the manage my booking section to access your booking and resend your booking confirmation email, so you can get this information at any time.

[H2] I have booked parking in advance, what do I need to bring to the airport?

Please pull a ticket on entry. The barrier will recognise your vehicle registration from your booking information.  On exit, the barrier will recognise your vehicle registration and lift to permit exit.
Our email booking confirmation will help direct you to the correct car park and also states your booking reference number so you should have it to hand, should you need to speak to a member of staff.

[H2] Is there Blue badge parking at Aberdeen Airport?

Customers should take a ticket as normal, blue badge holders get 30 mins free. Take your ticket and blue badge to the customer service office in the short stay car park before you exit and it will be validated for free exit.

[H2] How do I cancel my car park booking?

With increasing news coverage around the spread of Coronavirus, we’ve been working with our booking partner APCOA to provide you with information around refunds and cancellation terms for any existing parking bookings.
From 13th March 2020, the following terms apply to existing bookings regardless of whether your travel has been cancelled by your airline, tour operator or as a result of you wishing to change your travel plans.
Our contact centre is currently experiencing high volumes of calls. Please avoid calling or emailing unless you are due to travel in the next 72 hours. We recommend that you follow the advice below as the team are having to prioritise customers whose immediate travel plans are now impacted.
FLEXIBLE PRODUCT BOOKING
If you’ve pre-booked parking on a flexible product, you can cancel and get a refund, or amend your booking online as part of the terms of the product you’ve booked. This can be completed online up to 2 hours before your arrival date at the car park. Please visit the manage my booking section on the Aberdeen Airport website or, visit the website you booked through and cancel or amend once you’ve logged into your booking.
NON-FLEXIBLE PRODUCT BOOKING
If you’ve pre-booked parking on a non-flexible product and you wish to amend or cancel your booking, we can issue you with a promo code to the full value of your booking which you can use to book parking for a future date. The promo code will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. To request your promo code, please email us at [email protected] with your booking reference number and contact details and we’ll respond to you as soon as possible.
