Background Jet Airways (India) Limited (“Jet” or “Corporate Debtor”) is presently undergoing liquidation under the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (“Code”) read with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Liquidation Process) Regulations, 2016 (“Liquidation Regulations”). The Hon’ble National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi Bench (“NCLAT”), vide its order dated March 10, 2026, passed in Company Appeal (AT) (Ins) Nos. 419 and 420 of 2026 filed by the financial creditors and employees/ workmen respectively, has stayed the distribution of proceeds from the sale of assets of the Corporate Debtor. However, with a view to ensuring an efficient and orderly distribution mechanism upon the disposal of the aforesaid appeals, the process of collating and verifying information pertaining to the stakeholders of the Corporate Debtor is being undertaken.
