All of our activities are instructor-led so booking in advance is essential.We need a minimum of 4 to ensure you get the most out of your time here. [H2] Summer Camps
We run camps during Summer school breaks for KIDS and TEENS.

Summer Camps commence on Monday 29th of June.
Camps run Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm and can be taken on a daily or weekly basis. If you’re only booking for 1 or 2 days, it is recommended to come on a Monday or Tuesday.
Activities will vary daily and may include: Kayaking, Mud Slide, Pier Jumping, Climbing Wall, Archery, Fun Assault Course, Canoeing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Camp Craft, Group Games and Orienteering.
On Fridays we will include a forestry expedition where the group will learn camping skills, roast marshmallows, participate in team games and a cookout.

Outdoor fun building inner confidence, true friendships and a passion for the outdoorsWhether it’s part of a Transition Year programme, fulfilment of the adventure section of An Gaisce, class-bonding experience, or an end of year class tour, we have something to suit all requirements at Primary and Secondary level.
Located on the banks of Lough Bofin on the River Shannon, we have been accommodating school adventure tours and activity trips for many years. Our full day multi-activity trips for Primary and Secondary level are renowned and our activity and camping trip is perfect for TY and Gaisce groups.
All activities are led by experienced instructors, all of whom have Level 3 First-Aid, Child Protection, and Garda Clearance. All activities are fully insured.
The centre itself is a modern facility with toilets, changing rooms complete with showers, covered large outdoor seating area, and well equipped kitchen with facilities for teachers to make refreshments.

M4 / N4/ R371
Keep on M4/N4 to Rooskey roundabout. Take the first exit onto R371. Continue on R371, taking a left onto the bridge. Driver 1.5km and take the first right towards Kilmore. You will find us 1.5km on the right.

[H3] From Sligo / Donegal

N4 / R371
Keep on the N4, through Carrick-on-Shannon, Annaduff.
CARS: Take the L1601 (right turn) towards Dromod. Keep straight until you reach Rooskey and take a right over the bridge onto R371. Driver 1.5km and take the first right towards Kilmore. You will find us 1.5km on the right.
BUSES: by-pass Dromod and take the third exit off the Rooskey roundabout onto R371. Continue on R371, taking a left onto the bridge. Driver 1.5km and take the first right towards Kilmore. You will find us 1.5km on the right.

[H3] From Mayo

N5 / R371
N5 to Strokestown – Scramogue. Keep on N5 at Strokestown and drive 4.4km. Take a left turn at Scramogue onto the R371 .
Stay on R371 for 12.2km (when you have passed by Kilglass Gaels GAA pitch, you will be taking the 4th left – signposted for Kilmore). We are 1.5km on the right.
(If you reach Rooskey village, you have gone too far).

[H3] From Galway / Athlone / Roscommon

M6 / N61 / N63
M6 to Athlone and exit at Junction 12 for N61. Keep on N61 to Roscommon town.
Take N63 to Ballyleague and take a left (at the petrol station) onto R371. Keep on R371 (crossing N5 at Scramogue).
Stay on R371 for 12.2km (when you have passed by Kilglass Gaels GAA pitch, you will be taking the 4th left – signposted for Kilmore). We are 1.5km on the right.
