[IMG: The B-component is being added to the oil in a mixing cup] [H2] Stir & Mix Stir the Oil Plus 2C A-component into a mixture and then mix the 2 components carefully (1-2 minutes) with a ratio of 3 units A to 1 unit B. Using the B-component helps speed up the curing time and increase the strength & durability of the protection. [IMG: Someone is applying dark brown wood oil with a scrubby to a wooden chair] [H2] Apply Follow our easy wipe on, wipe off application. Apply the oil evenly with a beige pad or spatula and let absorb for a few minutes. Then remove any excess oil with a lint-free cloth and submerge the cloths in water. [IMG: A man is spraying a maintenance product on an oiled chair in a workshop] [H2] Maintain Want to enjoy your wood for a long time? Make sure you maintain it well. Our maintenance products extend the protection of our wood oil and keep the oiled surface looking fresh. Download our product catalogue Molecular binding [H2] The Monocoat technology The Rubio Monocoat oil adheres - within a couple of minutes - to the upper microns in the wood by a strong molecular binding (no film forming, no saturation). This unique technology has set Rubio Monocoat apart from other wood protection products for many years. Thanks to the molecular binding, Rubio Monocoat oil has the following characteristics... [H3] Unique colours The unique Rubio Monocoat oil pigment technology allows an intense and deep colouring in one single layer, without compromising the natural look and feel of the wood. [H3] Natural ingredients Rubio Monocoat oil doesn’t contain any water or solvents and is based on natural ingredients. This means that the product is very safe to use, and equally safe for your environment. [H3] Durable protection The molecular binding creates a durable, long-lasting protection. To obtain this molecular binding it is very important to respect a reaction time of a few minutes. The better the fibres are bonded, the stronger the protection. [H3] One single layer Thanks to our technology, the consumption is much lower than for a traditional system. This results in a durable colouring and protection in one single layer. [H3] No overlaps Once all free cellulose fibres are molecularly bonded, surplus product will no longer be accepted by the wood or the bonded Rubio Monocoat layer itself. This is why overlaps or starting marks are avoided. [H3] Easy to maintain Surfaces treated with Rubio Monocoat oil are easy to maintain, and isolated scratches or damaged areas are very easy to repair. [H3] All wood types Rubio Monocoat oil can be applied to almost all wood types, furniture as well as floors (solid wood, veneer, MDF, ...). Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are chemicals that evaporate after applying oil, harming both health and the environment. They can cause allergies, breathing issues, and eye irritation while also contributing to ozone depletion and climate change. Yet, many traditional wood finish manufacturers only reduce VOCs instead of eliminating them. Luckily, we choose to be different. We strive to make products without any harmful substances for planet and people and we’re proud that Oil Plus 2C is VOC free. That way, we can guarantee safe wood protection for our employees in production, the professionals applying our products and the homeowners. What’s more, Oil Plus 2C is also safe around children and pets, since it’s Food Contact Compliant & Toy Safe! [H3] Does one layer really work? Yes, it does! Our 1-layer product is based on our ground-breaking molecular binding, which was developed by George Barrell. Thanks to this technology, all cellulose fibres are molecularly bonded with our wood oil. This allows you to enjoy a strong and care-free protection of your wood in just one layer. Say goodbye to applying multiple layers, complex and time-consuming sanding processes and having to wait while it dries to apply the next coats! [H3] What’s the difference between wood oil and varnish, lacquers or wood stains? There are many differences between these wood treatments in terms of application, look, durability and maintenance. First of all, varnishes and lacquers require multiple coats, with varnishes even forming a film on top of the wood. Since wood stains only colour the wood without protecting it, you’ll need to add an extra protective layer for this treatment as well (which may again require several coats). In contrast, Oil Plus 2C requires just one easy, worry-free layer of wood oil. Additionally, it’s the only treatment that preserves the natural feel of the wood, including a matte look and a still visible wood grain. As mentioned, wood stains don’t offer any protection. Though varnish and lacquer protect the wood, varnish is prone to yellowing over time and lacquers can show cracks after a certain time. With regards to maintenance, wood oil is the only protection that allows easy maintenance and local spot repair without overlaps with the existing layer. Depending on the state of the wood, sanding might still be recommended for new wood after cleaning. That way, we can guarantee safe wood protection for our employees in production, the professionals applying our products and the homeowners. [H3] What’s the difference between DuroGrit & WoodCream? DuroGrit and WoodCream differ in several key ways, especially when it comes to the type of surfaces they’re suited for and the final look and feel they provide. WoodCream is a wax-based, hydrophobic cream specifically designed for vertical wood surfaces such as cladding, fences, windows and doors. It colours and protects the wood and can be applied in one or multiple layers. Its finish is more opaque than DuroGrit, making it ideal for changing the original colour of the wood or for renovation projects where sanding back to bare wood isn’t possible. WoodCream is also extremely water-repellent and has a self-cleaning effect, which significantly reduces maintenance. DuroGrit, on the other hand, is a water-based oil fortified with wood fibers, developed to maintain the wood’s original colour and prevent greying. It delivers a very transparent, matte finish that preserves the natural look and feel of the wood. In addition to strong UV resistance, DuroGrit also offers excellent wear resistance, making it suitable not only for vertical applications but also for horizontal surfaces such as terraces and outdoor furniture. "@type": "Answer",
"text": "Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are chemicals that evaporate after applying oil, harming both health and the environment. They can cause allergies, breathing issues, and eye irritation while also contributing to ozone depletion and climate change. Yet, many traditional wood finish manufacturers only reduce VOCs instead of eliminating them. Luckily, we choose to be different. We strive to make products without any harmful substances for planet and people and we’re proud that DuroGrit is VOC free. That way, we can guarantee safe wood protection for our employees in production, the professionals applying our products and the homeowners."

"@type": "Question",
"name": "What’s the difference between DuroGrit & WoodCream?",
"acceptedAnswer": {
"@type": "Answer",
"text": "DuroGrit and WoodCream differ in several key ways, especially when it comes to the type of surfaces they’re suited for and the final look and feel they provide.WoodCream is a wax-based, hydrophobic cream specifically designed for vertical wood surfaces such as cladding, fences, windows and doors. It colours and protects the wood and can be applied in one or multiple layers. Its finish is more opaque than DuroGrit, making it ideal for changing the original colour of the wood or for renovation projects where sanding back to bare wood isn’t possible. WoodCream is also extremely water-repellent and has a self-cleaning effect, which significantly reduces maintenance.DuroGrit, on the other hand, is a water-based oil fortified with wood fibers, developed to maintain the wood’s original colour and prevent greying. It delivers a very transparent, matte finish that preserves the natural look and feel of the wood. In addition to strong UV resistance, DuroGrit also offers excellent wear resistance, making it suitable not only for vertical applications but also for horizontal surfaces such as terraces and outdoor furniture."

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement BS: Rubio Monocoat (rubiomonocoat.com)
This is a high-substance technical site that uses marketing slogans only to wrap dense, physics-based product claims. It represents a gold standard for how industrial products should demonstrate value through measurable specifications and third-party verification. The bullshit level is negligible.
Implement Person Schema for inventor George Barrell to verify his professional contribution to molecular binding technology. Replace the repetitive The Power of One H2 headings with descriptive technical benefits like Single-Phase Molecular Adhesion to further increase heading density. Add direct outbound links from the certificate logos to their respective third-party verification databases. Include more granular project data for the 10-year vertical warranty claim, citing specific maintenance schedules used in those projects.
The site perfectly aligns with the Architecture, Interior Design & Home Improvement category, specifically focusing on wood protection and finishing products. The content confirms this by providing granular technical details regarding wood species, application tools, and finishing grits.
“The score of 14 is driven by the site's exceptional specificity in technical instructions and its extensive list of third-party certifications. Minor points were deducted for the high frequency of the branded slogan repetition and the lack of structured data for the mentioned expert/inventor. This is a Minimal BS site.”
