LightSpeed II is the evolution of our original LightSpeed tech — same foundation, new materials, for ultra-light and ultra-fast performance. We’ve replaced all carbon components with a custom-engineered combination of high tensile S-Glass and Innegra composite, delivering a dampened flex pattern, with a smoother ride, with less chatter, without sacrificing strength or durability. The “Exoskeleton” centerline strips are now built with S-Glass, infused with Innegra, offering a more forgiving flex than carbon, with superior dampening. The Web Fused Carbon tail patches have also been upgraded to Web Fused Innegra™, resulting in a white, light, lively, responsive board with forgiving flex and a smoother feel underfoot — all without sacrificing the signature speed and pop that made LightSpeed famous. LightSpeed II Highlights: High Tensile S-Glass + Innegra™ Construction: Replaces all carbon elements from the original LightSpeed with more flexibly forgiving materials. Less sun and heat sensitive, as well. Updated Exoskeleton Strips: Centerline strips now built with S-Glass and Innegra™, maintains tensile strength while dampening flex and reducing chatter. Web Fused Innegra™ Tail Patch: Replaces previous carbon version, for a forgiving feel under your back foot and improving dampening. More Flex Before Failure: S-Glass offers increased bend range before creasing or buckling, than carbon — delivering longer board life under pressure. Reduced Chatter & Twitch: Aimed specifically at minimizing the rigid, snappy feel often associated with carbon, creating a smoother ride overall. No More Carbon Footprints: For those looking to reduce their carbon footprint— literally — this update eliminates all carbon in the layup. * “Carbon Neutral*”… with tongue firmly in cheek. It is characterized by superior energy absorption, impact resilience, and capability for matrix integration with other reinforcement fibers such as Fiberglass to enhance their composite properties. Additionally, Innegra exhibits hydrophobicity, effectively repelling moisture, and possesses a low specific gravity, rendering it suitable for weight minimization in its applications. Innegra White Speed II center tape A woven composite reinforcement tape consisting of Innegra fibers and Direct sized/Pre-finished glass fibers, utilizing strategic fiber placement of Innegra to enhance mechanical strength and vibration damping properties. Innegra White Speed II full deck patch cloth A full deck layer of 5oz cloth (4oz running rail to rail with 6oz running nose to tail) interwoven with strategically placed Innegra fibers, running nose to tail. Innegra White Speed II, web fused gradient tail patches A unidirectional non-woven Innegra reinforcement tape measuring 12 inches in width, using proprietary WebFused technology to secure strategically positioned stabilization patterns. This constitutes the lightest and flattest reinforcement available.

Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Ecommerce & Online Retail BS: …Lost Surfboards by Mayhem (lostsurfboards.net)
This site is a rare example of ‘Signal-Heavy’ marketing. By prioritizing material density metrics, aerospace-grade aluminum specs, and verifiable athlete contest wins, the brand proves its expertise rather than just claiming it.
1. Replace internal review counts with a verified third-party platform like Trustpilot or Google Reviews. 2. Update Organization schema to include Person schema and sameAs links for Matt Biolos to bridge the authority-schema gap. 3. Create a dedicated technical specifications table for each surfboard model to further increase proof density. 4. Explicitly link the ‘Handcrafted in the USA’ claim to a workshop address or video evidence of the domestic production line.
The website is a perfect fit for the Ecommerce and surfboard manufacturing category. The content is deeply technical, focusing on hydrodynamic shapes and material science rather than generic retail filler.
“The score of 11 is driven by the technical specificity of the 'Lib Tech' and 'LightSpeed II' pages. Small point penalties were applied for the use of internally-managed review counts without third-party links and minor marketing hyperbole in H4 headings.”
