Our Rooms
[H2] Support for Every Stage
Each child placed within an Early Years Care & Education nursery is assigned a key worker, to ensure a personal service is delivered to both child and parent.Baby RoomToddler RoomPre-SchoolThe childcare team in our Baby Room has been selected for their caring, calming and gentleness towards this age group & will provide your baby with lots of love, cuddles & attention which is a must in these first few precious months. We pride ourselves in meeting the needs of all the babies in our care. Therefore, liaising with parents/guardians is of utmost importance to ensure that the dietary needs, sleep patterns & comforting preferences are met.Babies at this early developmental stage need lots of visual, sound & sensory experiences. These will be provided through mobiles & toys, which are appropriate to the individual stage of the babies, to encourage playful responses & develop communication & interactive skills. Tactile experiences are also a very important part of early childhood development. This will be provided through a range of different textured toys in the form of wood, plastic or cloth & early experiences with paint, water & sand. Musical experiences will be provided through singing, musical instruments & listening to songs & lullabies. As the babies become more mobile & robust in their play, toys & equipment are provided that offer a wide variety of developmental experiences, encouraging skills such as language development, shape & colour recognition & early mathematics. Creative times can be messy, but fun, with children participating in activities such as painting, sticking, sand & play dough. Stories & singing help the children to expand their vocabulary, knowledge & confidence. When your child reaches approximately 24 months, we will assess their development and, if they are ready, visits will be planned to our Toddler Room.We have many different activities in our Toddler Room to offer these children who are now developing at a fast pace & are eager to experience that little bit more.Stories, singing rhymes & conversation play an important part in helping children expand on their ever-growing vocabulary, knowledge & confidence.Imaginative play is available on a daily basis, which may be in the form of a home corner, hairdresser, a bank or supermarket. All forms of role-play encourage social, emotional & language skills. Each session will include a creative activity (e.g. painting, collage, cutting or mark making etc.) of which a selection will be used for display purposes & some will be sent home.We provide a wide range of toys, games & construction activities encouraging children to take turns & form relationships with other children by developing co-operative play & other social skills. We hope that your child’s time in our Toddler Room will provide them with a good foundation in simple colour, number & shape recognition by way of learning through play. Most of all we wish to equip them with the social skills to enable them to move smoothly up to our pre-school when they are at the right stage. When your child reaches approximately 36 months, we will assess their development, and if they are ready, visits will be planned to our Pre-School Room. Our Pre-School Room is a bright & stimulating environment in which our children are motivated & encouraged to learn & build onto their existing knowledge & skills. Our Pre-School room has an ongoing curriculum which is based entirely on learning through play. We use varied activities such as construction toys, books & stories, tactile play, arts & crafts, role-play, mark making, computer skills, puzzles & games to achieve all the learning goals as set out in the governments framework guidelines. The activities used in these sessions are suitable for all children & can be easily adapted (either expanded or simplified) to meet the needs of all the children. Staff give children 100% support & guidance where needed through appropriate interaction during play activities. Children will have the opportunity to take part in activities which will concentrate on the early skills of writing & numbers & early I.T. skills. This is introduced by the use of structured activities & projects, which will coincide & link in with the educational play activities set out for each day. An introduction to an alternative language will be offered. We also present a varied programme of enrichment activities such as pilates, toothbrush club, trips & visitors. The children in our Pre-School are also helped to become more independent (e.g. putting on their own coats, going to the bathroom etc.) & are encouraged to use appropriate manners & behaviour both in & out of nursery. The Pre-School staff team play a key role in transitioning the children in our care into their allocated primary schools. They ensure that all relevant information is passed onto the child’s new setting to guarantee the smoothest transition possible.

[H3] Registered with Ofsted
Early Years Care & Education Ltd. is registered with Ofsted, in line with The Children’s Act 1989. We provide a full day care service for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. In order to maintain high-quality childcare provision, we operate an ongoing system of self-evaluation and are subject to regular Ofsted inspections.
[H3] Equal Opportunities
We actively promote our Equality & Diversity – Equal Opportunities policy, ensuring that staff, children & parents are not discriminated against on the grounds of any protected characteristic. Everyone is treated as an individual to ensure that all needs & requirements are met to the best of our ability.
[H3] Your Child’s Safety is our Top Priority
A password system is operated in the circumstance of someone new picking up your child from nursery. Your child will not be released into the care of an unknown person without identification or prior arrangements so please make sure that we are fully informed.
[H3] Policies & Procedures
We hold written policies & procedures on the day-to-day running of the nursery, which the manager and staff follow to ensure that the standards are maintained.
[H3] Qualified & Experienced Staff
To ensure a high standard of childcare we employ a range of appropriately qualified staff who, we ensure, keep their training regularly updated. Great care is taken to ensure that the team works together to create a happy atmosphere for your child. The relevant checks are carried out on all our staff & each member has an initial trial period to ensure their capabilities meet our high standards. We believe in encouraging positive behaviour in both the children & the staff, & staff are expected to be role models for the children.
[H3] Notifying of Absence
You must inform us as early in the day as possible if your child is unable to attend their session. We are under obligation to monitor all children’s attendance &, as such, we require a reason as to why they are absent. If your child will be attending FEL funded sessions only, we are required to encourage you not to take holidays during funded weeks.
[H3] Appropriate Clothing
We ask you to provide at least one spare set of name-labelled clothes in case of any accidents. Please dress your child in appropriate clothing for their nursery sessions – they will get messy! Appropriate footwear & outerwear – depending on the time of year & the weather conditions – are also essential to ensure that outdoor play & learning is always possible. While we don’t have a uniform that we ask parents to send their children to nursery in, we do have certain guidance that we would hope all parents/carers find useful & adhere to please:Weather appropriate clothing – we highly value the outdoor learning your child takes part in while at nursery, & we will spend time outside no matter what the weather, so please do make sure they’re prepared! We recommend layers that can be added/reduced, rather than very thick or very thin items.Appropriate outerwear is essential, especially in cold &/or wet weather.Footwear needs careful consideration – ideally, for safety, we recommend shoes that enclose the foot fully like trainers or plimsolls. Unfortunately, ‘fashion shoes’ do come with a risk. We would advise against flip-flops/sliders etc. We can appreciate that, when it’s hot, it may seem sensible to dress children in shoes like these, with no socks, to keep them cooler, but they’re not very practical for nursery. If you do choose to send your child in sandals in warmer weather, we advise a well-fitting pair with an adjustable strap across the foot, & a strap around the ankle.Make sure all items are name-labelledYour child will take part in messy play, both inside & out, while at nursery – please don’t send them in anything special – we don’t take responsibility for any staining that is a result of them having a good time!Last, but by no means least, please don’t forget to apply your child’s sunscreen before their session during Summer months. Please do not let your child bring money, sweets or toys to nursery. Locations
[H2] Opening Hours

All offer the government ‘funded early learning’ scheme to eligible children.Full payment is required for any closures (e.g. Christmas Day) that are applicable to the days of attendance chosen & any absences due to sickness. A minimum of four weeks written notice is required to have this deduction made. Our invoices are sent electronically & will automatically be sent to the email address provided as your child’s ‘1st contact’. All account queries should be directed to [email protected] rather than the setting’s usual email address.Funded Early Learning (FEL) is a Government funded scheme that offers up to 570hrs per year of early education to all 3 & 4-year olds & eligible 2-year olds & babies (9+mths). Eligible children are able to double their entitlement to 1,140hrs per year under the Extended Funded Entitlement (EFE). There is defined criteria which must be met in order to be eligible. Parents need to confirm their eligibility & we can only provide a place once that eligibility has been confirmed. FEL for 3 & 4-year olds is a universal entitlement & children qualify to receive FEL the April, September or January following their third birthday. The funded entitlement equates to 15hrs per week for 38 weeks of the year. Parents may choose for their child to take up fewer hours than they’re entitled to if they wish. Our settings deliver funding between 8am & 6pm. A child can claim FEL &/or EFE at no more than 2 providers in any one day & can only claim up to a total of 15 or 30hrs depending on eligibility. If a child’s attendance exceeds what is funded, our pricing structure will be applied. All sessions include our all-inclusive session package at a charge of £8.50 per session, this covers meals & snacks, nappies/wipes/cream, eyLog, suncream, parent’s evenings, attended events, parent workshops, outings etc, all bundled together at a discounted rate. Your child can access the FEL/EFE hours only, attending 38wks per year only, or you can stretch across all 52wks accessing a lesser amount each week (15hrs: 10.96hrs/wk, 30hrs: 21.92hrs/wk). If your child is signed up to our all-inclusive package but attending 38wks only, you may wish for them to attend an ad hoc additional session during a non-funded week, these can be requested &, subject to availability, will be booked & charged as per our Extra Session arrangements (8hrs+ per session, £10/hr). You will be required to complete an Early Years Care & Education Ltd. ‘Parent/Carer Agreement for all Funded Early Learning (FEL/EFE) Children’. Please be aware that the Local Authority strongly advise that holidays are taken outside of funded time & that, if a child exceeds the limit they set, funding may be retracted & parents will be legally required to refund the setting. In line with submitting funding claims to the Local Authority, you commit to the number of hours we claim on your behalf for a minimum of a term at a time. This does not affect your right to request alterations to your hours of attendance.Parents opting out – We recommend our all-inclusive session package, that offers a fully enhanced service to families. As stated above, this includes, but is not exhaustive of, meals & snacks, nappies/wipes/cream, eyLog, suncream, parent’s evenings, attended events, parent workshops, outings etc, all bundled together at a discounted rate. Collectively these are valued & cost much more than the £8.50 discounted fee we charge. However, we do offer non-inclusive package places available for children in receipt of 15hrs. This is offered 8.30-11.30am Mon-Fri during the 38 funded weeks only. You will be required to send a piece of fruit for snack, & nappies/wipes/cream if your child requires them. This is at a cost of £0 to the parent. We also offer non-inclusive package places for children in receipt of 30hrs. This is offered 12.30-6.30pm Mon-Fri during the 38 funded weeks only. You will be required to send a piece of fruit for snack, & nappies/wipes/cream if your child requires them. With increasing numbers of severe allergies amongst children, & the lack of extra fridge storage to keep them fresh, we do not allow packed meals to be brought in from home, (other than a piece of fruit for snack time) therefore requiring parents to purchase tea at a cost of £2.00 per day (£10.00 per week). If any of the required items for either arrangement are not sent daily, a charge will be made at our usual rate & parents will be expected to pay this. Persistent failure to provide will result in termination of the non-inclusive package place. All places will be at the availability of the Nursery, & parents wishing to access will go on our waiting list until a place becomes available. Children in receipt of EYPP will be given priority access. If ‘opt out’ is the chosen option, please note that there is no opportunity for parents to add hours, either during funded weeks, or outside of these terms, or purchase additional services/request changes whilst accessing a non-inclusive package place. This flexibility is only available where parents are accessing our regular Nursery offer.Parents will be informed of dates/times where extra-curricular activities will be taking place that parent have opted out of (including Rhythm Time, Super Star Sport, Cryo Sports UK etc.), & that session will be rearranged (tagged onto the end of the current funded period in non-funded time).a healthy vitamin-rich diet

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

27 BS / 100

A rare example of a high-substance service site that prioritizes parent-facing utility over marketing fluff. Its BS score is kept low by radical pricing transparency and detailed operational protocols, despite a slight lack of external verification links.

First, convert the ‘Ofsted Rated Good’ and ‘Hygiene 5’ images into active links to the official government reports. Second, introduce a ‘Leadership Team’ section naming the managers and their specific qualifications to close the identity gap. Third, refresh the blog section, as posts from 2024 and 2025 appear stale against the current 2026 system date.

The website perfectly aligns with the Early Years education and childcare category. The content demonstrates deep familiarity with UK-specific frameworks such as Ofsted registration, FEL (Funded Early Learning) entitlement, and the Children’s Act 1989.

“The score of 27 is driven primarily by the high information density and technical transparency. The few points lost are due to the lack of outbound proof links (Trust and Proof) and the absence of named authority figures in the schema data (Identity and Authority).”
