Learner driver trainingLearning to drive is an exciting and equally frightening prospect for most people.
My Name is Mike. I am an ex AA Driving School instructor. I now own and run iDrive Driving School but still follow the AA Driving School's strict code of conduct.

I aim to make your driving experience relaxing, enjoyable, safe, exciting but never frightening. I will not only try my best to prepare you for a first time test pass, (I currently have a VERY HIGH 1st time pass rate of 86%, national average 49%*) I will also teach you to drive safely and with confidence so that you can continue to drive on our ever increasingly busy roads with safety.
I offer driving lessons for learner drivers and refresher courses for FLH

What lesson time should I reserve?
My instruction prices vary depending on how many lessons you book. If you book a 2 hour lesson you will complete your training quicker. You will also receive a discount for block lesson bookings. I recommend booking lessons in 2 hour slots so that each exercise can be more successfully completed. Also, if the lesson involves driving the test routes a 2 hour slot will be necessary in order to reach and practice the DSA test routes. Usually pupils that take lessons in 2 hour slots pass faster.

INTENSIVE DRIVING COURSES -
ONE AND A HALF HOUR ASSESSMENT £75.00
If you need intensive training to achieve test standard driving you can choose the intensive driving courses. Each course is specifically tailored to fit the pupil. I do not recommend intensive course sessions of more than 2 hours duration as pupils will find it hard to concentrate. In order to access how much training will be required a one and a half hour lesson must be booked. If you decide to use me for your intensive training I will not charge you for the assessment.

8 hour intensive course £480.00
12 hour intensive course £696.00
16 hour intensive course £896.00
20 hour intensive course £1100.00
24 hour intensive course £1296.00

PASS PLUS

Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely.
It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.
On completion you may also receive a discount on your car insurance.

[H6] Green Badge, what does it mean
In order to teach people to drive and receive payment instructors must be registered with the DVSA (Driving and Vehicle Standard Agency)ards Agency) and hold a pink trainee licence (PDI) or a green fully qualified licence (ADI). It has been recently reported by the AA Motoring Organisation that around one in every eight driving instructors currently offering driving tuition through bigger schools are PDI's (trainee driving instructors). All PDI's need to train in order to pass the DVSA part 3 instruction test. PDI's train with learner drivers whilst some schools are charging pupils the same as fully qualified instructors. When booking your driving lessons, make sure the instructor is an ADI or a PDI. The badge should be displayed on the left hand side of the windscreen. For more information please go to the Telegraph articleThe Telegraph
[H6] Why choose idrive?
A Fun and Dynamic Learning ExperienceMy name is Mike. I am an ADI (Advanced fully qualified driving instructor - ADI green badge number 423240). I am an ex AA Driving School instructor. I now own and operate iDrive Driving School where my pupils are my biggest priority. Most of my pupils come to me by word of mouth recommendations. It is very important for me to make sure that all my pupils receive the best training possible. The reputation of the Driving School and my business depend on it. I guarantee that, should you decide to take driver training with me, you will always be treated to the best training I can offer. My aim is not only to train you to pass your driving test first time and as efficiently as possible but to also leave you with the knowledge to continue safe driving. I will teach the skill of driving using traditional methods blended with the new Client Centered Learning and Coaching techniques depending on your individual learning style.

[H6] idrive's promise to you
idrive Driving School promise to NOT charge you silly rates for learning to drive. There are many driving schools and instructors who are charging lesson rates that are either unsustainable or so cheap, the instructor is forced to conduct lessons for up to 70 hours a week in order to make a living (£99.00 for 10 hours of lessons is not difficult to find). At idrive, you will be charged at a comparable rate to other local driving schools. Further, I will promise not to conduct more than 30 hours of driving lessons a week*. When you take a driving lesson with me, I will not be suffering from overwork or fatigue. You will be paying me to give you a full lesson of driving tuition at the best of my ability and of the best quality I can deliver. I can achieve this by not overworking myself.

Of course, the choice of instructor is yours. Just make sure you make the right choice that's both value for money and safe. Or, you could use Mum & Dad Driving School

[H6] What is PassPlus
Pass Plus training takes at least 6 hours. It has 6 modules, covering driving:
in town
in all weathers
on rural roads
at night
on dual carriageways
on motorways
All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory based. You’ll normally spend at least 5.5 hours driving.
You won’t take a test but you’ll be assessed throughout the course. To pass you’ll have to reach the required standard in all modules.
You’ll be sent a Pass Plus certificate after you’ve successfully finished your training. You’ll need this when applying for a car insurance discount.

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER TAKING THE PASS PLUS COURSE?
The driver training course completed in order to pass the DVSA driving test equips drivers with the basic knowledge to negotiate UK roads reasonably safely.

Newly qualified drivers are most at risk of being involved in a serious or fatal accident during their first 12 months of solo driving, hence the high insurance premiums. The Pass Plus course is designed to minimise the risk that newly qualified drivers are exposed to during this very critical time. The course covers driving techniques that can be applied to many different road types and road conditions that could be encountered on Britain's busy road network.

The course covers a variety of different experiences including Motorway driving, driving in adverse weather conditions and busy urban driving (this may include driving experience in Central London or similar).

The Pass Plus course has been proven to reduce the risk of being involved in a serious or fatal car accident.

The cost for the course is £180.00. The cost of being involved in a serous or fatal car accident is unlimited.

To book your course call or text Mike on 07887 527523.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Update the ‘Useful Downloads’ page to remove the 2017 date reference and replace it with current 2026 DVSA standards to eliminate the perception of stale content. Implement Person schema for Mike to connect his ADI badge number to a verifiable digital identity. Align the 10-mile and 12-mile radius mentions across the homepage and meta tags to ensure absolute geographic consistency.

The site fits the Education category as a specialized vocational training provider for driver licensing. It bypasses the typical academic jargon of schools and universities in favor of technical, industry-specific standards relevant to the DVSA.

“The low BS score of 11 is driven by the instructor's high level of credential transparency and specific pricing models. Points were only deducted for the minor semantic drift in service area radius and the presence of stale 2017 references which technically degrade authority in 2026.”
