Whether you are a new driver learning for the first time or someone that knows how to drive but requires extra tuition (perhaps motorway driving or if you are from overseas and wish to learn about driving in the UK) we are here to help.
For 25 years we have been helping people gain confidence on the road and learn how to drive. Throughout that time we are proud to say that we have never placed a single advert, instead our business flows entirely by word of mouth through recommendations. This is testament to the quality of our service.
“Andy has a way about him that makes it fun and easy to learn. With Andy in the car I never suffered from any form of anxiety on the road and I very quickly became a confident driver.” Isabella (2021)

Andy Godman is Jigsaw Driving School. With 25 years of experience in the business he is one of the most qualified driving instructors in Hertfordshire.
Pass rates are exceptionally high and new drivers are always filled with confidence on the road. Andy is ranked in the top percentile of driving instructors nationally based on pass rates.
Additional motorway driving lessons are also available after passing the driving test. This is recommended because motorway driving is not part of the curriculum for a driving test.

Three things to note on prices:

We do not compete on price, we compete on the quality of instruction. High first time pass rate and a great instructor ranked in the top percentile nationally based on test pass rates.
The cheapest driving instructors are usually cheap for good reason!
You are better-off paying slightly more for a good driving instructor and here is why. With a good instructor you may be paying £38 per lesson, but if you pass after 20 lessons it costs you £760. An average driving instructor may only charge £30 for a lesson, but if it takes you 30 lessons or more to pass then your total cost is £900.

Single lessons £ 40.00 [Saturdays are £50.00]
Block of 10 lessons £ 380.00 : The block discount is equivalent to £38 per lesson, a 5% discount.

The driving test involves two parts:
A theory exam; and
A practical driving test in the car.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?
Your predicted BS score 0 / 100
💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

35 BS / 100

Jigsaw Driving School is a low-BS local service site that prioritizes transparent pricing over corporate buzzwords. Its primary failings are technical rather than deceptive, specifically the lack of structured data and verifiable links to back up its high-performance claims. It represents an authentic but digitally unverified expert footprint.

Immediately implement Person and LocalBusiness schema to verify Andy Godman as a legal entity and professional instructor. Add the instructor’s ADI registration number and Grade to the footer to substantiate the most qualified claim. Replace the stale 2021 testimonial with a current student pass from the last 12 months. Link the top percentile claim to a verifiable third-party ranking or official DVSA statistics page.

The site is classified under Education, Schools & Universities, specifically functioning as a vocational driving tuition provider. While it correctly identifies as an educational service, the provided industry jargon dictionary for academic institutions does not align with the practical, service-based language of a driving school.

“The score of 35 is driven primarily by Trust and Proof and Identity gaps. The lack of structured data (schema_json) and the use of unverified, aging testimonials prevent the site from achieving a minimal BS score. The low Information Density and Semantic Coherence scores reflect a refreshingly direct and honest communication style.”
