Worldwide solar and wind power generation has outpaced electricity demand this year, and for the first time on record, renewable energies combined generated more power than coal, according to a new analysis.

Our Story
ACP is the premier association representing the American clean power industry. With unrivaled scale, resources, and political reach, ACP works to set the agenda, influence policy, and shape the future of American energy.
In 2021, a small group of clean energy industry leaders came together because they saw a need that wasn’t being met in the trade association space. Today, ACP represents over 85% of utility scale clean energy deployments across the entire ecosystem: from planning, building, and putting electrons on the grid.
