With unrivaled scale, resources, and political reach, ACP works to set the agenda, influence policy, and shape the future of American energy. In 2021, a small group of clean energy industry leaders came together because they saw a need that wasn’t being met in the trade association space. Today, ACP represents over 85% of utility scale clean energy deployments across the entire ecosystem: from planning, building, and putting electrons on the grid. Pause slider Play slider Jim Murphy President & Co-Founder, Invenergy, ACP Board Member [IMG: Headshot of Jim Murphy, Board Director.] “Clean power and renewable energy sources are the future. Becoming a founding member of ACP for us meant committing to the world that we’re in this together. By concentrating our effort and resources on a larger, multi-technology association, we can advocate with one voice what we’ve known all along: clean energy is safe, reliable and affordable.” Susan Nickey Chief Client Officer, HASI ACP Board Member [IMG: Headshot of Susan Nickey, Board Chair-Elect.] “Joining ACP as a founding member was an easy decision for our team. Renewable energy is a mainstream and mature source of American electric power. Clearly, we needed a united trade association to represent the breadth and depth of our industry. If we are to deliver a grid that is predominately powered by clean, reliable, and affordable renewable power, then we must continue to advocate as one cohesive group working together and playing off each other’s strengths.” Jim Murphy President & Co-Founder, Invenergy, ACP Board Member [IMG: Headshot of Jim Murphy, Board Director.] “Clean power and renewable energy sources are the future. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Energy, Utilities & Environmental Services BS: American Clean Power Association (ACP) (cleanpower.org)
This is a high-substance, low-BS professional association site that prioritizes data-driven authority over marketing fluff. It functions more as a data clearinghouse and policy hub than a promotional tool, making it a rare example of ‘Signal’ actually matching ‘Substance.’
Implement Person schema for the executive leadership named in press releases to solidify digital authority. Explicitly link ‘indirect and induced’ job metrics to a published methodology to preempt skepticism of the 1.4 million jobs claim. Replace stylized wind turbine icons in the Leverage section with links to actual geographic impact maps to move those H3 blocks from concept to proof.
The site is an exact match for the Energy and Environmental Services industry, specifically acting as a trade association for the multi-tech clean energy sector. The content focuses on utility-scale storage, wind, solar, and transmission, aligning perfectly with its stated mission of policy advocacy and industry data reporting.
“The score of 16 is driven primarily by the high information density and lack of semantic drift. The only minor penalties were in the Commodity Fingerprint pillar (for industry jargon like 'leading the charge') and Information Density (for a small percentage of nav-related fluff). Overall, this is an exemplary low-BS score.”
This training module utilizes a snapshot of public data from American Clean Power Association (ACP), captured on June 20, 2026, to demonstrate how machine logic evaluates different types of business narratives.
Purpose: This data is presented under “Fair Use” / “Educational Exception” for the purpose of forensic semantic analysis, allowing users to compare human intuition against machine-generated evaluations.
Notice to American Clean Power Association (ACP): This analysis is part of a non-adversarial audit conducted by 1 Euro SEO. The results provided by 1EuroSEO are intended as professional feedback to help improve any website’s machine-readability and authority signals. The 1EuroSEO BS Detection Tool is a free tool, and anyone can test any company to see how their content is interpreted by AI models.
Any company can use the insights for free and improve its voice by comparing it to industry clichés or competitors. When a company has updated its content, it can always submit a new audit request, which will be reflected in a new current score.
