V236-15.0 MW™

We’re spearheading a sustainable offshore wind industry with cutting-edge technology designed to excel in challenging offshore environments.

[H2] Offshore wind pioneers since 1995

We’ve been pushing the boundaries of offshore wind for 30 years. Together with our partners, we’ve installed and maintained turbines in frozen tundras, tropical trade winds, and tsunami-stricken waters. Our first project in Tunø Knob stands as the world's oldest commercial offshore wind farm, with its Vestas turbines still operating today.

Much has changed since then. The offshore wind industry has rapidly grown, as have our ambitions as we continue to invest in proven, world-class technologies to ensure our platforms excel at sea. Our experience allows us to hand-pick what works, and the lessons we’ve learned are embedded into the heart of Vestas’ next-generation offshore platform.

[H1] Development

From greenfield to late stage, we leverage Vestas’ technical expertise, along with financial strength and global reach, to maximise project value and save time and cost of uncertainty.

[H2] Bringing quality renewable energy projects to life

Vestas develops high-quality renewable energy projects, driving the shift towards a world powered by sustainable energy. Leveraging four decades of wind expertise and Vestas' advanced turbine technology, we create clean energy solutions and value for the local communities, while generating new business opportunities for our partners and customers worldwide.

[H4] Less risk, more project value for our partners

We’re skilled at bringing successful renewable energy projects to life by securing land, engaging with local communities, measuring wind resources, executing environmental planning, project engineering, and obtaining permits and grid connection. By collaborating closely with local stakeholders, we lay the groundwork for successful wind projects.

We then hand them over to our partners at a later stage of development, while Vestas remains involved in ensuring smooth construction and long-term service. Our commitment to quality is reflected in every project we undertake, backed by our unmatched technical expertise and dedication to execution.

[H4] Track record and pipeline

[H5] Intelligent project design

We start with initial desktop research utilizing mesoscale wind maps to assess wind resources and narrow down promising sites. Then, our measurement campaigns provide detailed wind data, assessing patterns and potential energy yield. We use advanced modeling to optimize turbine layout, particularly in complex terrains, ensuring efficient and effective site utilization. We assess the grid connection feasibility of the wind farm and optimize wind farm electrical configurations to meet grid requirements. This holistic approach guarantees that projects are not only viable but also optimized for success.

[H5] Environmental activities and project permitting

In our commitment to respecting and protecting the environment, we carry out site inspections, biodiversity and avifauna surveys, and geological and geotechnical studies. We rigorously ensure the protection of natural ecosystems while optimizing energy production from every parcel of land we develop. We work closely with public and private stakeholders to obtain all the necessary administrative authorizations and building permits to guarantee a sustainable, well-integrated project development.

[H5] Community engagement

We prioritize bringing long-lasting benefits to local communities by actively engaging with community members, identifying opportunities to support local needs, and thoughtfully addressing their concerns and feedback. We ensure access to the necessary land, always acting with respect for the people and the environment.

[H5] We’re the local community’s long-term partner

We then hand them over to our partners at a later stage of development, while Vestas remains involved in ensuring smooth construction and long-term service. Our commitment to quality is reflected in every project we undertake, backed by our unmatched technical expertise and dedication to execution.

[H5] We work together with local authorities

Vestas collaborates closely with local authorities from day one. Drawing on our strong track record and unmatched technical experience, our projects generate jobs, attract infrastructure investment, and unlock the full potential of the sustainable energy transition.

[H3] Case: Delta Wind

Sold in 2022, the Delta development project was the first wind project in Mississippi and marked a significant milestone in Steelhead’s role in opening new wind markets across the U.S. The project posed a challenge due to the complex agricultural and cultural richness of the region. The project configuration maximizes energy production efficiency while promoting farming activities, ensuring both sustainable energy generation and agricultural development. The turbines used for the project enable access to wind at higher speeds thanks to our technology, which provides solutions for different market conditions.

[H5] Our development footprint

Part of our development arm, Steelhead Americas was formed in 2016 to identify and develop new locations for renewable energy projects in North America. Since then, the development unit has become one of the pillars of Vestas’ strategy and the activities have expanded over several markets worldwide.

[H4] Facts about wind

We live in an unstable world and need to look for opportunities wherever we can to protect our loved ones and our communities.
The wind is one of Earth's great natural resources and it can be transformed into energy, providing communities with opportunities while building a better environment. Vestas is committed to leading a responsible and inclusive energy transition and, in turn, boosting communities with potential benefits.

Your Diagnosis

Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.

Information Density 0 / 30
Read the Narrative & headings: do hard facts (prices, dates, numbers) outweigh fluff power-words?
Semantic Coherence 0 / 20
Compare the homepage promise against the sub-page reality. Do they hold the same line?
Trust & Proof 0 / 20
Weigh review mentions against actual external proof links. Claims without verification = theatre.
Commodity Fingerprint 0 / 15
Check headings & narrative against the industry clichés in the setup above.
Identity & Authority 0 / 15
Inspect the schema: is there real Organization/Person identity with sameAs links, or gaps?

💡 Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)

These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.

Information Density

Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.

Semantic Alignment

Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.

Trust & Proof

Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.

Commodity Fingerprint

Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.

Identity & Authority

Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.

Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.

Integrate Person schema for the Executive Management team to bridge the authority gap between named leaders and their verified profiles. Clarify or link the review_count metadata to a visible third-party verification source to remove the minor ‘trust theatre’ flag. Reduce the repetitive use of ‘Global Leader’ in H2 headings to decrease the commodity cliché density. Add technical specification tables directly to the product pages to further increase the ratio of data to marketing prose.

The site is an exact match for the Energy and Environmental Services category, specifically focusing on wind turbine manufacturing, installation, and service. The content is deeply technical and focused on utility-scale infrastructure rather than consumer-facing energy retail.

“The score of 17 is driven primarily by minor technical gaps in structured data (Step 5) and the use of industry-standard marketing cliches like 'energy transition' (Step 4). The trust_theatre flag in Step 3 contributed 4 points due to the presence of unlinked review counts, but the overall analysis shows an extremely high level of substance and coherence.”
