We use non-reversible hashing to create unique visitor identifiers based on their IP address, browser and device information.

[H3] Is the subscription per project, or is it shared across all projects?
It could be both!Our pricing is per project. However, you can link one project to another that has an active Pro subscription, allowing them to share the event limit. This means you can have a single subscription for all your projects.Some cases for both methods:— If you have multiple websites and want to share the event limit between them, you can link them under a single Pro subscription.— If you're an agency setting up Seline for your clients, you can set up different projects with different payment methods and subscriptions.— If you represent a company with several websites that have separate accounting, you can set up multiple projects, each with its own subscription.

It's the duration we keep your data on our servers, which is unlimited for a Pro plan.
[H3] What happens if the events limit is exceeded?
When on a Pro plan, we start asking for an upgrade if you exceed your limit for two consecutive months, or if you go 5 times over your limit.If you reach your monthly limit for the first time, we'll notify you but won't take any action. We understand that traffic spikes can happen. We prefer to base our counting on your regular monthly activity.

[H1] MCP Server
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude or Cursor interact with external tools and services. Seline MCP server allows you to access your analytics data from your favorite AI tools. It is based on the Seline public API and has tools for all of its endpoints. Currently, you can retrieve everything we have at the Dashboard: visit metrics, statistics, revenue data, custom events, and more.

MCP server requires authentication using an API token. You can generate an API token in your project settings > integrations.
API tokens are per-project, meaning you'll be able to use them only for the project you generated them for.
