That’s why we focus on helping every child feel secure, happy, and cared for.To support this, we offer a gradual settling-in process. Children spend time in their playroom with a parent or carer first, then slowly build up time at the nursery on their own, getting to know their Key Worker and building a trusting relationship.

At Little Petals, we know caring for children is a huge responsibility, and we take it very seriously. Our staff are carefully selected for their experience, kindness, and commitment to providing the very best care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).All team members are appointed through a thorough recruitment process in accordance with Ofsted requirements and complete an enhanced DBS check before joining us. Our rooms are led by qualified practitioners, supported by trained assistants, and all staff are fully trained in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Paediatric First Aid.We’re proud of our stable team and low staff turnover, with many staff members having been part of Little Petals since the very beginning.

At Little Petals Day Nursery, we care for a number of children with diagnosed food allergies and intolerances. To ensure we maintain the highest standards of safety, minimise the risk of cross-contamination, and provide consistent supervision at mealtimes, we are unable to accommodate packed lunches or food brought in from home.
