And Yes, we’ve partnered with a gynaecological charity. It’s pretty funny. But what isn’t funny, is the silence around women’s health. We’ve joined forces with The Lady Garden Foundation to launch a partnership bottle of our much-loved Raspberry Lemonade, with a portion of the profits donated to support gynaecological cancer awareness, education and research for the whole of 2026. Pick up a bottle in major supermarkets across the UK and sip to support! Find out more [IMG: Belvoir Farm] [H2] A New Spritz Takes the Crown Say cheers to the brand-new Hugo Spritz mocktail! "*" indicates required fields [IMG: A woman carrying a tray of drinks] [H1] Sustainability Here at Belvoir Farm we’re as obsessed with sustainability as we are about taste, doing everything we can to ensure we are treading lightly on the land. It’s something we have been doing since 1984 and are proud to share with you. We operate with zero waste to landfill, use 100% recyclable packaging and are expanding our solar network, aiming to generate 50% of our electricity this way. All of this supports our goal to become carbon net zero by 2035. Our commitment to people, our products and our planet was officially recognised in 2025, when we became B Corporation certified, a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. Impact Report 2025 [H2] Our Promise Our business goal is to continuously improve and reduce our impact on the planet, with clear goals to become carbon net zero by 2035. We are annually audited to ensure our carbon reduction programme is on track. [H5] Zero Waste to Landfill We are proud to be a zero waste to landfill company. Our team work hard to reduce waste as much as possible and any surplus materials are either reused or recycled. This includes our barrels, plastic, glass and sugar bags. [H5] Packaging Our bottles are made from 58% recycled glass and the packaging across our full range is 100% recyclable. Both our glass bottles and aluminium cans can be widely recycled at home. [H5] Energy The fruits in our drinks are powered by the sun – and so are we! In 2025, we added more solar panels to the roof of our factory in The Vale of Belvoir, aiming to generate 50% of our electricity this way. [H5] Water Every drop counts. We’ve put a water reduction plan in place to make our factory as water efficient as possible – and even harvest rainwater to flush the toilets in our office. [H5] Tree Planting Planting trees has always been a huge part of what we do here at Belvoir Farm. Since 1984 we have planted over 10,000 trees to help give back to our planet. These range from native Oak and Scotts pine, Cyprus pines and Field Maples. [H5] Wildlife On the farm we’ve planted 28 acres of flower rich margins for butterflies and pollinators, and in 2021 we welcomed three bee hives. We also have over 62 acres of land dedicated to producing oil rich winter bird feed and installed owl boxes to enable owls to nest, breed and feed throughout the winter months [H2] We’re a B Corp At Belvoir Farm, our people, our products, and our planet are at the heart of everything we do. For over 40 years, we’ve been crafting naturally delicious drinks, that are sustainably made with honest ingredients. We don’t cut corners, we don’t chase profits, we do the right thing—and now, that commitment has been officially recognised. To achieve certification, a business must score at least 80 points. We proudly achieved 91.2, well above the UK average of 82, showcasing our dedication to being a true force for good. But the work doesn’t stop there. We are continuing our sustainability efforts, with the goal of becoming carbon net zero by 2035 Climate Action Plan

[H2] Keep in Touch Sign-up to our newsletter to find out about new products, competitions and giveaways. "*" indicates required fields [IMG: A woman carrying a tray of drinks] [H1] Our Elderflower Harvest [IMG: Two smiling women with a Belvoir Farm mocktail] [H6] June is a big month here in the Vale of Belvoir. For six glorious weeks, the surrounding hedgerows come alive with sweet-smelling wild elderflower and our own 60 acres of organic elderflower burst into bloom. The Belvoir Farm team, and some loyal local pickers, know when it’s the perfect time to harvest the large – headed flowers, warmed by the sun and heavy with dusky yellow pollen. The local community are truly special, and without them coming to handpick the flowers, we wouldn’t be able to create our delicious elderflower drinks. [H2] How it works [H5] Farm Our team cares for the elder trees on our 60-acre plantation all year round, nurturing them through the seasons to ensure a healthy, abundant harvest when summer arrives. [IMG: belvoir farm elderflower plantation with belvoir castle in the background] [H2] How it works [H5] Pick When the flowers have bloomed and are heavy with dusky yellow pollen, they are ready to harvest. Our team and the local community come together to hand pick organic elderflowers from our plantation and wild elderflowers from the hedgerows across Leicestershire and the company’s three bordering counties. The local community are truly special, and without them coming to handpick the flowers that go into each bottle every year, we wouldn’t be able to create our delicious elderflower drinks. [IMG: a local picker taking part in the belvoir farm elderflower harvest] [H2] How it works [H5] Collect Once the flowers have been picked, they’re collected by our team, weighed and verified, and pickers get paid by the kilo for their efforts. So they can pocket some cash, get walking in the fresh air and reconnect with nature all at the same time. And pickers can be reassured that Belvoir Farm, with their own sustainable farming methods and Countryside Stewardship practices, always give at least as much back to the land as they harvest. [IMG: a local picker bringing their elderflowers to the belvoir farm elderflower harvest collection station] [H2] How it works [H5] Craft Within 24 hours of harvesting, the flower heads are poured into a vat and hand-stirred gently to make elderflower syrup that goes into all our elderflower drinks. The family recipe hasn’t changed in over 40 years, just masses of hand picked elderflowers, sugar and water. As a soft drink, a recipe ingredient or a delicious splash to cocktails and mocktails, it stands the test of time! [IMG: belvoir farm elderflowers being hand stirred before being made into our iconic elderflower drinks] [H2] How it works [H5] Enjoy The elderflower infusion we make from the harvest is then used in all our elderflower drinks, from our iconic Elderflower Cordial, to our new Hugo Spritz mocktail. Meaning our delicious drinks are literally a sip of the glorious British countryside. Explore our full range of naturally delicious drinks. Your Diagnosis
Before revealing the machine’s verdict, predict the BS score for each signal. Higher = more BS (more fluff, less verifiable substance). Drag each slider, then submit to compare your judgment against the engine.
Stuck? Reveal the heuristic lens — how the deterministic page-auditor reads each signal (no AI, pure pattern rules)
These are the structural rules a local, deterministic auditor applies — the same lens you can use to judge each signal. They describe what to look for, not this company’s result.
Classify each sentence as substantive or hollow. Grounding markers — numbers, currencies, dates, technical units, named entities — outweigh marketing adjectives. When fluff sits right next to hard evidence, the fluff is forgiven.
Pull the main entities out of the H1, then check whether they actually recur through the body. A page that announces one thing and then talks about another drifts. Headings with no real sentences underneath read as pseudo-substance.
Count trust words (review, testimonial, rating, verified) against real outbound proof links (Google, Trustpilot, Clutch, G2, Yelp). Lots of trust language with zero verification links is trust theatre. Unlinked logo galleries count against it.
Look at how much sentence length varies. Natural writing varies its rhythm; templated or mass-produced copy is statistically uniform. Very low variation reads as commodity content — unless unique named entities break the pattern.
Inspect the JSON-LD. Is there an Organization or Person schema, and does it carry sameAs links to real external profiles (LinkedIn, socials)? Missing schema or no identity declaration signals an anonymous entity.
Want to apply this lens yourself? The free BS Indicator Chrome extension runs these heuristic checks live on any page. Bear in mind it is a single-page, deterministic tool — it relies only on pattern rules for the page in front of it and does not perform the cross-page semantic correlation this audit uses, so its readout is a starting lens, not the full verdict.
Based on 2707 businesses audited.
Belvoir Farm has 22.4 points less BS than the average for Food, Restaurants & Delivery.
Food, Restaurants & Delivery BS: Belvoir Farm (belvoirfarm.co.uk)
Belvoir Farm is a rare example of high-substance marketing where the brand’s ‘Signal’ of being a premium, nature-led farm is backed by forensic operational ‘Substance.’ The site avoids the BS trap by disclosing specific picker pay rates, B Corp metrics, and GPS locations for its fields. It is a benchmark for how to use industry jargon like ‘locally sourced’ without it becoming fluff.
Consolidate the multiple H2 Keep in Touch headings into a single footer-level element to clean up the technical heading hierarchy. Implement Person schema for Peverel Manners and Connor the ecologist to provide a verified digital footprint for the specific experts mentioned in the narrative. Replace the vague claim of winning a fair few awards for great taste with a specific list of the Great Taste Awards won. Link the B Corp score directly to the official B Corp directory entry for Belvoir Farm to maximize verification efficiency.
The site aligns perfectly with the Food and Soft Drink category, focusing on ingredient sourcing, production methods, and retail availability. It avoids generic restaurant clichés by focusing on its unique identity as a farm-based manufacturer.
“The score of 20 is driven primarily by minor authority gaps and concept repetition of the 'Naturally Delicious' tagline. High information density and total semantic coherence between the farm-to-bottle promise and the harvest reality prevented a higher score. This is a high-substance, low-bullshit digital property.”
