So glad I found Wood Street Opticians. I've had thorough eye exams here and recently bought 2 pairs of glasses because the prices are better than the big chains I've been going to for years. Everyone there is so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

Dispensing OpticianHi, I'm Umarah. A qualified dispensing optician. I love helping people find the right frame that speaks about their personality. I also enjoy being able to tailor each dispense to my patient's need; and always giving the best suited option. But my favourite dispenses are those with young children, being able to connect with them warms my heart. Someone once said to me, I help provide something most people use and need day to day; I take great pride in doing so! Out of work, I enjoy going to the cinema to watch all the latest movies or gaming! I also spend my hard-earned money on growing my collection of lego!

Optical AssistantHi, I’m Natasha. I’ve been working in the optical industry for over 10 years, with experience ranging from high street independents to high-end luxury practices. I love helping people find the perfect frame and guiding them through lens options that genuinely suit their lifestyle, not just their prescription. If you follow us on social media, I’ll keep you up to date with everything happening at Wood Street — from the latest trends to the occasional cheeky promotion. Feel free to come and say hello at the front desk… just be warned, if you bring your dog in, I’ll probably ask for their name first.
