The aim of the analysis is to evaluate information exchanged between ECUs and software functions. The information exchange can be realized via networking technologies (bus systems, networks) or via hardware connections (digital/analog).The level of detail ranges from physical values (current, voltage, etc.) to digitized binary information on protocol packets to signals represented symbolically, which can be displayed in CANalyzer with the help of various analysis windows.

Products and Options DDS (Data Distributed Service) and Connectivity and are now supported in their own options. The new Electric Motor Model Option offers functions for HIL tests of electric motor ECUs. The new CANoe MedTech product is available for medical engineering.AUTOSAR Viewer Artifacts for CAN, FlexRay, LIN, transport protocols and network management are displayed New views for topologies and filters

General Functions Desktops can be organized dashboard oriented. New system variable filter in the Measurement Setup facilitates various filter settings and allows import/export. Revised windows for Bus Statistics, Signal Generators and Replay Blocks. CAPL programs can be inserted in Replay Blocks to manipulate the output events. .NET 8 can be used to create tests, application models and simulation nodes. OBD diagnostics now supports OBDonUDS. MATLAB models and Functional Mockup Units (FMUs) can be executed in parallel.
