Since opening, we have developed an enviable reputation for providing personal and sensitive care at a difficult time.From our funeral premises on Ramshill Road in South Cliff, we are proud to offer a personal, bespoke and flexible service to the families of the Scarborough district and the wider Yorkshire region.The Hull branch was officially opened in October 2023 on Anlaby Road to serve the Hull area and offer a cost-effective but professional funeral service in the city.With over 20 years of experience as a funeral director and manager, Kevin knows how important it is to sensitively guide families through funeral arrangements at what is often a difficult and sad time. Kevin is a noted brass musician and choir member. Playing in local Brass Bands, Brass groups, and other musical ensembles, he is uniquely placed to provide bespoke musicians for services. From playing the Last Post for Military funerals or civic events to providing a full ensemble, we will be happy to discuss any specific musical requirements.If you need help choosing music suitable for any service, then we are ideally experienced to be able to offer good advice on this matter.

We have a number of Silk Floral Arrangements that clients may choose to use for the service which reduces costs and waste. They are free to use. We recognise some may wish to perhaps place a single flower, say a Red or White Rose on the coffin, as well as the main spray and for some families they may prefer a coffin spray made from real flowers. Whatever your wishes we can arrange them for you or you may choose to use our nominated florist or one of your choice.

[H2] Personal Keepsakes and Jewellery
We can now offer clients a service with our partners at Legacy Life Expressions to provide a unique keepsake or piece of jewellery containing the fingerprint of your loved one. If you wish to use the service, we use a handheld scanner to digitally capture your loved one's fingerprint, and this is then stored electronically and can be used at any time to create a unique piece of jewellery, such as a necklace or ring, or etched onto a glass ornament. Once a fingerprint is obtained, any items can be ordered at any time now or in the future and offer a unique means to remember your loved one.

[H5] Funeral Finance

We offer funeral finance through our partners at Funeral Safe. They can help you with financing the cost of your chosen funeral arrangement, which can then be repaid over a period of time to suit you. It may be that there are no ‘liquid’ assets in the deceased estate and the only asset may be in a house for sale, etc. Funeral Safe and also Trust Inheritance can help you with the costs now and recoup the monies from the estate later. Ask them for advice or speak to us for further help. You can apply directly from our page and see what the monthly costs are at the outset.

Includes Cremation fees, Doctor’s fees, Our Professional Services, a Simple Coffin and transport by Hearse (including staff) direct to the Crematorium on the day of service.Some restrictions apply to this service: viewing of your loved one during office hours only and no embalming included. ‘Cardinal’ Funeral Arrangement.This arrangement is for those wanting a traditional funeral with a hearse and following limousine to take the family to a service venue or Church prior to committal at a Crematorium or Cemetery. This arrangement includes: Professional services, a Quality Oak Veneered coffin, a Hearse and a Limousine with staff. Embalming is included when requested, and there are no restrictions on visiting your loved one, day or night. Includes ALL Fees for Cremation, Doctor’s Certificate and Minister/Celebrant.* The only additional costs would be floral tributes, newspaper notices or Church Fees.
